Miss Utah Noelia Voigt Is Miss USA 2023: First Venezuelan-American To Lift Title

Noelia Voigt of Utah was declared as the Miss USA 2023 this Friday. The 22-year-old accepted the crown from North Carolina resident Morgan Romano, Miss USA 2022. Noelia Voigt’s parents are Venezuelan-American, and she was born in Florida. She is a certified lash technician and also a licensed esthetician. The ceremony took place in Reno, Nevada at the Grand Sierra Resort. The first runners-up were Savannah Gankiewicz, Miss Hawaii, and the second Alexis Loomans, Miss Wisconsin. This July she was the first to be also crowned Miss Utah.

The final question that the judges asked Noelia Voigt at the beauty pageant was how she would contribute to the Miss USA organization as its brand ambassador. Voigt answered that Miss USA should be able to readily network with people. Being a diverse country, perhaps more than any other in the world, it should be able to reach out across race, ethnicity, and background.

Noelia Voigt said that Miss USA should represent all communities, and as the brand ambassador of Miss USA, she aimed to serve that role as Miss USA. The event was hosted by Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Keltie Knight. 51 women featured in the final round from the states across the US. The best state costume went to Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii. It was a banyan tree-inspired costume from Lahaina.
