Travis Scott Declares His “Utopia” Performance at Pyramids of Giza in Egypt

Travis Scott

Travis Scott has revealed the news of releasing his long-anticipated fourth album, Utopia during a live performance at the pyramids of Giza in Egypt. He also announced that the date of the event is July 28 (Friday) through an Instagram post on Sunday. He mentioned that tickets are now available, though they are not unlimited.

Scott’s team members gave rise to the audience’s expectations by describing the production as an extraordinary show that will engulf the audience and transcend them to a utopian world. This performance is going to be marked as Utopia’s first-ever full-length release since Grammy-nominated Astroworld in 2018. Travis Scott says that Utopia brings to him the loving memories of his earlier albums like “Owl Pharaoh” and “Rodeo”, which are as close to the heart of the audience as this album is going to be. Considering the records of his previous albums he thinks that this will also be a fan favorite.

Travis Scott’s Announcement Of The Show

Fans articulated their excitement at the news of the arrival of his upcoming album in the comment section of Travis Scott’s post. One of the biggest fans wrote that the day of the performance will “change the music industry forever”. Another expressed their exuberance by showing solidarity with their effort in producing such a gem of an album. However, despite the cheerful comments of the followers, all of them were not positive. Some of them tried to demotivate the team spirit by writing words like “not concerned about your concert ngl” and “[…] nobody finna listen to Utopia”.

However, the team is unbothered by such vilifying words of some of the detractors. Travis Scott has put up details about the album and the upcoming performance. Some of the artists, like Bad Bunny, SZA, The Weeknd, and Mike Dean have been seen carrying Utopia briefcases over the last few weeks. Even Travis Scott was seen to be holding the briefcase while remaking the cover of Abbey Road by The Beatles.
