Hillary Clinton Key Player In Biden 2024 Bid

HIllary Clinton

Hillary Clinton has turned into the most substantial surrogate for aging American President Joe Biden as he steps up his 2024 presidential election campaign. The former Secretary of State is likely to step up her role and is strengthening his support base for 2024.

At a Washington D.C. fundraiser recently, Hillary Clinton along with the WLC, the Women’s Leadership Forum managed to raise close to a million dollars for the Democratic president’s reelection. NBC reported that Bill Clinton was also present at the fundraiser. But the former Secretary of State’s backing is not limited to her fundraising prowess. Hillary Clinton is also being projected as among the aging Biden’s leading surrogates.

It is a tough phase of Biden’s presidency as he delicately negotiates America’s role in two wars raging in Europe between Ukraine and Russia and now in Israel against the Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip following the dastardly attacks across Israel on October 7.

Hillary Clinton Has Backed Biden’s Position In The War Against Hamas

It is here that Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy skill and experience is coming in handy as she backs up Joe Biden’s position. While Democratic reaction to Biden’s support of Israel’s all-out assault has been mixed. But Hillary Clinton has on several occasions backed his stance and the steps he has taken.

In an op-ed, Hillary Clinton reiterated that the Democratic administration led by Biden was right in not asking for a ceasefire in Israel at this juncture. It is something that several Democratic voters and even legislators have been demanding.

Hillary Clinton has maintained that any form of ceasefire would only give Hamas the crucial time to recoup and further its campaign of hatred and violence. It would be a sort of victory for Hamas and would only perpetuate Iran’s proxy war and its alliance of resistance. Her strong backing for Biden and her ability to bring in funds are key factors that demonstrate her growing importance in the Democratic campaign.
