Word has come from No.10 that the Prime Minister is on his way to recovery. Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced, “The PM is recovering and I’m sure the whole nation is delighted to see the news he’s getting better.”

On April 9 the Prime Minister came out of critical care and has been in “extremely good spirits”.

As of April 11, the PM was said to have been getting well. Though closely monitored, he has been sitting up, playing cards, and watching films as well as taking small walks, which is a very positive sign of recovery.

However, the worried dad, Stanley Johnson said his son will be needing some more time to rest before taking up the reins. His full recovery is still in question.

The senior Johnson expressed how grateful he and his family is towards the untiring efforts made by NHS. But he also univocally expressed his concern with Hancock over BBC urging on the seriousness of the disease which has claimed nearly 8,000 lives in the UK itself.
