As the stay-at-home orders become more rigid and its time span increases, protests are breaking out in several parts of the nation.

In this week, about 100 protesters assembled near the Ohio State House, Columbus to urge Republican Governor Mike DeWine to reopen the state.

More than 100 people protested against the order of stay-at-home by Democratic North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. Reportedly, a protester was charged with breaching the order.

New York witnessed a protest on Thursday when a dozen demonstrators assembled outside the state Capitol in Albany demanding re-opening.

Wyoming, Utah, Kentucky also saw similar protests.

Reportedly, more demonstrations are scheduled to be held in Washington state, Virginia, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Idaho, and Texas.

In Michigan, the protests took place on a larger scale. About 3000 to 4000 people came together at the state Capitol in Lansing to protest against Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay at home order which was extended last week.

When asked about protesters and demonstrations, President Donald Trump expressed confidence in the protesters saying that he believes the demonstrators respect his opinion. He also said that the governors and he are all on the same page regarding reopening the country but safely.
