Arn Anderson praises Paul Heyman and says Roman Reigns should have always been a heel since the days of The Shield

The latest episode of the “ARN” podcast with Arn Anderson and Conrad Thompson is an “Ask Arn Anything” episode.

Arn talks about his career, the current wrestling scene, smelly opponents, Minnesota memories, his favorite sandwiches, his favorite tag teams and a lot more.

Arn gave his thoughts on the Roman Reigns pairing with Paul Heyman: “I’ve said it before that Roman should still be a heel from the first day the Shield were hired. He should have never been anything but that kickass Samoan killing machine. That’s who he is. That’s how he is going to get even better than he is right now because he is going to be allowed to be himself. Putting words in his mouth and being something he is not was a mistake with Roman. It’s crystal clear who he is and who he should have been from day one. Paul Heyman is also a guy that even though a lot of people in the industry now that the curtain is pulled back and they respect him as far as his ability to cut a promo and get you revved up for the upcoming match, Paul has a lot of skills and a lot of history and a lot of knowledge. He’s very unlikeable as well and I think he will make it easier for Roman to be an unlikeable figure.”

Reigns has a lot of freedom with this current storyline and he was the one who pushed for his heel turn. So far, things seem to be working out well. Reigns is scheduled to defend the Universal Championship against Jey Uso at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
