The win was necessary to avoid a playoff matchup. The match was against one of the sides that dropped out of the champions league. Arsenal’s next game is against Chelsea.

Arsenal Faced Goal Before The Victory

Arsenal won against FC Zurich 1-0. At the emirates stadium for their Group A match. The first half from Kieran Tierney was outstanding which caused the tie. Arsenal dominated from the beginning and spent most of the time attacking. Bukayo Saka’s action made the crowd go crazy. There was a clean sheet, no one was injured. However, Gabriel Jesus’s performance was mindblowing and energetic but not enough for the forwards.

The visitors continued to frustrate Arsenal throughout the second half of the match. PSV made it difficult for Arsenal to win the match. Some believe manager Arteta might have messed up as he chalked out the plan in his mind against Chelsea cost him the Thursday match. There could have been more goals and energy in the field but weren’t there.

Aaron Ramsdale did some great passes in the first half. Gabriel Jesus sped up. Ben White combined with Nelson during the opening goal. They overlapped but it was a blessing in disguise that made it work for their team. He was aggressive from the beginning. Zurich’s forward movement didn’t make the English team feel right about it. Nelson got into a good position after his win against Nottingham forest. Fabio Vieira was an integral part of the opening goal, he faced quite a shot blockage.
