The recent Pelicans Vs Suns NBA match was all about the Mikal Bridges show- he has been the go-to man for the Phoenix Suns for this season- as it seems. Interestingly, in his 47th minute of the game, he leaped straight into the air and brought down a two-handed jam that stunned the entire arena.

Bridges went on to score 31 points, and also blocked four shots- something that easily made this the best game in his professional career. This led to the Suns crushing the New Orleans Pelicans 112-97. This also allowed the Suns to take a 3-2 lead in the first-round series of the Western Conference.

The Pelicans Vs Suns Match Was The Mikel Bridges Show

Even after the Pelicans vs Suns game, Bridges didn’t seem to be tired. In the postgame news conference, he was quite confident that he would be ready to play tomorrow if the need arose. He was quite energized, and so were his teammates. In fact, he was so excited after the game that he was ready to get on the court for any game that he could participate in. Bridges was helped by Chris Paul– who scored 22 points and managed 11 assists. Even Deandro Ayton piled in on the misery, scoring 19 points and nine rebounds.

The Pelicans vs Suns was a game that was closely fought until the last few minutes. While the Suns never really trailed behind the team from New Orleans, they also never managed to take the game beyond their opponent’s reach. But as it seems to be the norm this year, the team from Phoenix managed to just take themselves beyond the finish line when it mattered the most.

After the Pelicans vs Suns game, Willie Green- the coach for the Pelicans, stated that the team made quite a few mistakes- especially when they were supposed to be more aware. Their turnovers were messy- and they ended up losing a bunch of points there.
