Barcelona has found itself in a slump in the Champions League. The Catalan team has to be considered among the top clubs in the world. And therefore, it has become an immense shock for world football as Barcelona finds itself again at the edge of another Europa League entrance from the champions league for the 2nd consecutive season. What is more spirit-breaking is that they have come close to group-stage exits from the Champions League again.

With the 3-3 draw in the home match against Inter Milan after losing to them in the last week, it seems even more likely that Barca is exiting again from the group stages of UCL.

After a nil-nil draw in the first half, Barcelona, the host of the game, went all out with their star striker Lewandowski up front. However, even with Lewa’s two humongous strikes in the back of Inter Milan’s net, they still draw against the visitors.

Barcelona, With Their Draw Against Inter Milan, Is Now On The Edge Of Another Group Stage Exit From The UCL:

Xavi’s team seemed to be headed for victory following Ousmane Dembele’s 1st strike inside the first forty-five, but the Seri A giants pulled together well after the break, scoring goals by Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez, a previous transfer target of Barcelona.

Barca avoided a loss in the game due to Lewandowski’s two compensators, each side of a composed goal by Robin Gosens; however, they will be relegated if Inter wins one of their last two group matches.

At this point, with Inter left with Bayern and Viktoria Plzen games as same as Barcelona, it is tough to say definitely which of the two teams will ultimately qualify from group C. However, Inter, having won one against Barca in the first leg, has a better chance than Barcelona at this point.
