Jude Bellingham Is Going To Be A Key Target For Manchester City In The Summer

Jude Bellingham

Manchester City has been planning on revamping their entire midfield in the summer- with a supposed acquisition of wunderkind Jude Bellingham.

But the club will also be looking to see if both Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva will be leaving the club or staying- before deciding whether any further investment is required. Also, the acquisition of Jude Bellingham will depend on his departure from Borussia Dortmund, but Man City will also be facing stiff competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool- who are also in the race to get the English midfielder. It is expected that he will be commanding a transfer fee of around 100 million pounds plus some add-ons.

Jude Bellingham Could Be Targeted By Manchester City This Summer

Ilkay Gundogan has a contract at the Etihad Stadium, which will finish at the end of the season- and will be waiting before deciding if he should stay or leave the club for further options. Bernardo Silva, in the meantime, has also made it no secret that he wants to leave the club after being here for six straight years- and although Pep Guardiola has stated that he wouldn’t have a problem with Silva leaving, the club would ensure that he earned a hefty fee. Silva is under contract till 2025- but has attracted some attention from big clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, with the club from Camp Nou making major plans to bring him to their club.

Jude Bellingham is being considered a major target for quite a few clubs before the next season starts, but it is not easy for Manchester City to secure his services- considering his status as a future star. And this problem surfaces despite City having a good relationship with Borussia Dortmund after signing both Manuel Akanji and Erling Haaland- who has been quite destructive for the team in blue.
