Jesse Palmer Takes Over As The Bachelor Host: Says He Is Humbled

Jesse Palmer is the new host of The Bachelor, taking over from Chris Harrington, who left the franchise back in June. Palmer will be the next host, at least for season 26.

In a statement, Jesse Palmer said that The Bachelor has given dozens of memorable love stories to the world of over 2 decades, including his own. He said that one of life’s greatest gifts was falling in love. He said he felt humbled to be allowed to return as host.

Jesse Palmer feels he will be able to give the latest bachelor advice that he gained from his personal experience. He said he was grateful to be part of this opportunity.

From Bachelor To Host: Jesse Palmer Returns After 17 Years

The former quarterback from NFL is returning at 42 after becoming the 5th bachelor back in 2004. He had ended that season being close to Jessica Bowlin. But the relationship did not last more than a month. Emely Fardo, the model, is the new love interest in Jesse Palmer’s life. They started dating in 2017.

Jesse Palmer has in the past hosted The Proposal, ABC’s dating series, in 2018, and this summer he hosted The Ultimate Surfer.

Two former leads from Bachelor Nation, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams have since started hosting The Bachelorette.

The lead of season 26 of The Bachelor has not been announced yet. 33 photos of ladies who could make an appearance when it premiers in 2022 were posted to Facebook.

The pictures showcased diverse ethnic backgrounds in the age group ranging from the mid-20s to the 30s. Contestants included women from outside the US.

While The Bachelorette will air its 18th  season soon on October 19, 8 p.m. ET. Fans of The Bachelor will have some waiting to do before the 26th season gets underway.
