CNN’s Chris Cuomo Has COVID-19, Quarantines In His Basement

Chris Cuomo is the new one added to the American famous people list that caught Coronavirus.

The CNN Anchor shared that he tested positive for Coronavirus on his social media accounts today, saying he was dealing with people who later were diagnosed with the novel disease. So, he decided to get the test as he was feeling ill with fever, chills, and shortness of breath.

“I just hope I didn’t give it to the kids and Cristina (his wife),” Cuomo wrote. “That would make me feel worse than this illness!”

Presently, the 49-year-old is isolating himself in his basement, where he intends to keep on hosting his show Cuomo Prime Time. He was joking that his family appeared to be satisfied with his new isolation and hopes to make a full recovery.

Cuomo, whose late dad Mario Cuomo filled in as governor head of New York from 1983 to 1994, said on his show that he was awkward with the media’s emphasis being on him. He talked with CNN’s Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker about the pandemic. He additionally talked about the pressure of medicinal services laborers with an attendant from Georgia named Carley Rice.

“This is so small compared with what so many are facing,” he said, adding that he was proof that anyone can be sickened in the pandemic.

Andrew, Chris Cuomo’s brother is the present governor leader of New York and has been a critic of the Trump Administration’s treatment of the compounding emergency where New York is at the epicenter.

Government researchers today cautioned that COVID-19 could kill somewhere in the range of 100.000 and 240,000 Americans.
