DES MOINES– Lily Ungs simply wished to see her grandparents while she’s house from ballet college.

“Yeah, it’s hard not seeing people that you miss,” statedUngs “He [my grandpa] resembled ‘hey you should come dance during our social hour on Wednesday.’”

So Lily connected the space from the terrace to the blacktop.

It’s simply a great point to do in times like these, to support individuals up as well as raise some spirits I think,” stated Ungs.

Fleet feet, as well as smooth steps.

“I’ve never danced in a parking lot, so this will be a first for me,” stated Ungs.

All while Jon as well as Elaine Lindgren seen from their third-floor apartment or condo.

“It was really surreal,” statedJon “Because I always wondered would we see her dance again. because stadiums are closed and venues are closed. It’s her whole self and I was so glad she could come tonight and share it with everybody.”

While family members are apart, dancing defeats the range.

“It’s just exciting that I can use what I have to help other people feel happy in this rough time,” stated Lily.
