Kyler Murray Earns High Praise From Peers

Despite claims that the AZCardinals would fare poorly in the NFL this fall. And much has been made of Kyler Murray’s efforts to reset for the future. The backing of his teammates has paved a path for Kyler Murray to succeed once again for the Cardinals. Even as the AZCardinals moved through the off-season program, Kyler Murray has been the constant in all events. And the reviews have all been positive. 

The 5th-year QB has been recovering from right knee surgery this January. Kyler Murray was there at practice seasons through the off-season for the Cardinals despite recovering from the surgery. He watched his fellow QBs work as he stayed back behind the scrimmage line and went through the reads. 

Kyler Murray has chipped in whenever needed as he interacted with signal-callers or worked his way with other receivers. While it may be months before he takes the field, he has been a constant presence at the Arizona team this off-season. 

Coach Gannon Has Praised Kyler Murray For His Commitment Despite Staying On The Sidelines

It has been a sea-change from the past years in Dallas when he would spend working off-seasons. It was the place where he started out, and it meant so much to Jonathan Gannon, the new coach. 

Gannon praised him saying that he was the first to report and the last to leave. He said that he had a lot of time with the 2019 No. 1 pick during periods of organized team activities (OTA). He said that Murray has remained focused on the team’s developments and was eager to be back on the field. Kyler Murray suffered an ACL injury and tore his meniscus during a December 2022 loss to the New England Patriots that ended his season.  He continues to be in rehab.
