Donald Trump Jr’s Social Media Account Hacked: Message Uploaded On X Of The Former President’s Death

Donald Trump Jr

The social media account of Donald Trump Jr. was hacked and a message posted briefly that declared that the former president was dead. The post on X (formerly Twitter) remained on the account for over an hour before it was pulled down. The post on Wednesday falsely claimed that former President Donald Trump was dead. Screenshots taken by netizens before the X post was brought down revealed the message in which Donald Trump Jr. had purportedly posted about the death of his father.

The post was worded to announce the sad demise of Donald Trump. The message also went on to add that Donald Trump Jr. would contest the 2024 presidential election. Donald Trump did not directly refer to the message but posted a message on the Donald Trump-created messaging platform, Truth Social, later that day. His post was in no way related to the hacked message on his son’s X account.

Donald Trump Jr. and Joe Biden Both Targeted By The Hacker

Another tweet on the same account referred to the present President, Joe Biden, with an expletive. There was also a racial epithet used and another post about ‘smoking’ North Korea. Other people referred to in the hacked tweets include Jeffrey Epstein and influencer Richard Heart. A message, in which Donald Trump Jr. supposedly declares that he would burn the SEC if elected, was also posed. Eric Trump, Trump Jr.’s brother, jokingly tweeted to ask if his brother’s password was Don2024.

The tweets were finally deleted at 9:45 hours E.T. Donald Trump’s spokesperson tweeted on Wednesday that Donald Trump Jr.’s account was hacked and linked to a since-deleted tweet. Ever since Twitter changed hands and emerged in its new X avatar, Elon Musk has been struggling to improve the platform. Among his attempts are the ones to attack fake accounts and bots. He said that those were the biggest problems that X faced.
