‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ Workplace Under Investigation by WarnerMedia (EXCLUSIVE)

It has been reported that the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” will be investigated by WarnerMedia after several reports of an unhealthy workplace environment cropped up recently.

Warner Bros and Telepictures have already sent the show staffers memos regarding the same. They have been informed that they will be interviewed about their experience working on the show. Former staff members will also be interviewed. Moreover, the show producers and distributors have mentioned that a third-party company will also be present during the investigations.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show is still to comment on the issue.

Last April, several reports of mistreatments, intimidation, and even racism in Ellen’s TV production cropped up in the media.

The allegations ranged from microaggressions to racial mistreatments.

After the allegations were made public, producers Andy Lassner, Mary Connelly, and Ed Glavin released a joint statement. They said that they were truly saddened by the fact that even a person felt negative about their work experience in the show.

They further said that the allegations do not match Ellen’s mission of making everyone happy.

The statement said, “As many in the world are learning, that we need to do better, are committed to do better, and we will do better.”
