Lionel Messi has finally won the World Cup as the 2022 FIFA World Cup draws the curtain at the Lusail Stadium in Doha after a thrilling battle against France that ended in a tiebreaker. Lionel Messi Will Not Retire After World Cup Win:

France was clueless in the first half, however, some tactical changes in the first and in the second half made by Didier Deschamps made the team better in the second half. In the last twenty minutes of the second half, Kylian Mbappe made a blitzerring run in the opponent half forcing Argentine defenders to foul him inside the penalty box. Scoring that penalty for France, Mbappe scored another making the score 2-2 and forcing the game into extra time.

However, Lionel Messi again scored in the extra time almost grabbing the trophy, until Argentina conceded a handball followed by a penalty again that was scored by Mbappe again to take the game in the tiebreakers.

In the final shootout, Lionel Messi scored the first one again, while Mbappe scored for France. However, Emi Maryinez saved one shot of France while Tchoumani missed another. Thus, despite Hugo Lloris’ attempts Argentina scored four of their penalties and won the Title.
