A Harvard law professor recently expressed her concerns regarding the rising trend of homeschooling by Americans amidst the ongoing novel coronavirus outbreak.
In a recent piece in Harvard Magazine titled “The Risks of Homeschooling”, professor Elizabeth Bartholet expressed that homeschooling involuntarily violates the rights of the child and should be prohibited.

She further spoke about how the to-do list for parents under the homeschooling law is limited at present. Bartholet also spoke on rigid ideologies that the parents may have and impose upon the children.
According to her, children should learn democratic values, non-discrimination, and tolerance in an environment like educational institutes.
