American professional football player Frank Clark has agreed to a year-long deal with Denver Broncos. Confirmations come from sources from the Broncos. Earlier, Sean Payton, coach for the Broncos had hinted at adding new players to the team as he had mentioned churning up the team roster. According to sources from Adam Schefter, sports writer for ESPN, Frank Clark may have signed an estimated $ 7.5 million deal with the Denver Broncos. This estimation is taken into consideration of his guaranteed base remuneration of $ 5.5 million. 

The 30-year-old defense veteran, formerly played for the Kansas City Chiefs, with whom Frank had signed a five-year contract extension in the 2019 NFL draft. However, Clark was released by the Chiefs on March 1 of 2023 due to a disagreement between the Chiefs and Erik Burkhardt, Clark’s agent. This made him available on the market again this season. While the Broncos had a vacant position after its players Baron Browning underwent knee surgery due to cartilage injury and Randy Gregory suffered a knee injury. 

Frank Clark Was Suspended By The NFL For Violation Of Personal Conduct Policy

Frank Clark was suspended in 2022 for two games, due to the violation of the personal conduct policy by the National Football League. Clark was arrested by police for the possession of two loaded firearms as his car was pulled over. He was also driving without carrying a license, due to this, the NHL had suspended Clark in September 2022. Clark was sentenced to a year under probation and was asked to do 40 hours of community service. Frank was previously arrested in 2014, on the ground of possible domestic violence.
