ELLICOTT CITY –  A town that has experienced two destroying floods is getting some truly necessary positive consideration and a national spotlight on account of an acclaimed TV gourmet specialist.

Ellicott City will be included on Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back Tuesday at 8 p.m. on FOX 5.

It’s a town that is now been to hell and back, twice.

“I think people will be able to see not just throughout the nation, but the world about how Ellicott City has shown that we don’t stay down,” stated Howard County Executive Calvin Ball.

Chef expert Gordon Ramsay and his film cast were seen in the town’s historically significant area toward the finish of February, resuscitating Phoenix Upper Main brewpub, Little Market Cafe, and Jaxon Edwin Social House.

The scene vows to be Ramsay’s “biggest rescue yet.” obviously, nobody would’ve felt that after all the work, the remodels, and big-time publicity, companies in the town would be experiencing another crisis, this time alongside the remainder of the nation.

”We had to lay off everybody,” stated Mark Hemmis, who has Phoenix Upper Main. “Right now we’re operating with a bare-bones crew. We are putting out food. We’re open Tuesday through Saturday.”

In the same way as others in the town, Hemmis modified his business twice, just to be compelled to close again due to COVID-19.

Hemmis stated that he realizes several restaurants the nation over won’t survive, yet this town is one that realizes how to hold tight regardless.

”We are uniquely qualified to handle this kind of closure,” Hemmis said. “This town is amazingly resilient. It has come back over and over and over again. And Ellicott city will thrive in the future.”
