Ben Simmons: Back Soreness Causes A Serious Problem In Nets Debut

There has been news that the new prized acquisition of Brooklyn Nets, Ben Simmons, is suffering from back soreness. His back issue arises while he is preparing to make his debut in 2021-2022. The Coach of the Nets, Steve Nash, confirmed with the Milwaukee Bucks that Ben Simmons, the three-time All-Star is facing some back soreness before Saturday.

In addition to this, coach Nash also said that it is not a long-term injury that Ben is facing. Ben’s back flared up a bit before the game, and it is nothing serious that fans need to worry about the same. The Nets have secured Seth Curry and Andre Drummond along with Ben Simmons, the six-foot forward guard, on 10th February. However, they traded Paul Milsap and James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers. 

Ben Simmons’s Coach Replied To His Injury

Simmons was the first choice in the draft of 2016 but did not play since the semifinals of the Eastern Conference last season when the Atlanta Hawks defeated the 76ers. In the words of Nash, Ben has not played any game since June, and he is just preparing to return to the upcoming game.

Further, he added by stating that players are susceptible to specific minor injuries like muscle tightness and soreness in ramping up. Moreover, in an interview, Ben Simmons indicated that he hopes to play the game by March 2022, when the Nets revisit Philadelphia.
