Klay Thompson Reflects On The Epic 14-3 Pointer Game

Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson has enjoyed many memorable moments in a Warriors uniform, but 29 th of October 2018, certainly ranks high atop the list.

On that night, Klay Thompson set an NBA record with 14 3-pointers in a 52-point performance against the Chicago Bulls in which he didn’t even play during the fourth quarter. But the Warriors star often wonders what could have been.

Klay stated that he looks back sometimes and thinks how he played only 3 quarters. He could have got 16,17,18. He uses that as a motivation to do it better the next time.

Steph Curry, who should break Ray Allen’s NBA record for most career 3-pointers this season, still believes he can break Thompson’s mark.

Steph Curry Is Rooting For Klay Thompson

Steph stated that he was still rooting for Klay Thompson.

He added that it was tough as there are so many defenders now. There will be games where everything goes their way and they make everything count. You think to yourself, “I’m going after this”.

Curry is quick to point out how impressive it is that Thompson achieved the feat in three quarters.

As Klay Thompson continues to rehab from the torn right Achilles he suffered last November, the Warriors star is motivated to get back to the lofty heights he once occupied. He stated that this was the reason why he was always training in the gym, to achieve moments like these.
