The “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah said a quiet goodbye to the tiny studio crowd that had assembled for his finale of “The Daily Show” on Thursday. Several of the show’s contributors, such as  Roy Wood Jr., Jordan Klepper, along with Desi Lydic, and also Trevor Noah’s lifelong friend, comic Neal Brennan, made appearances during an early-evening recording in front of viewers, the cast, and current and past network officials.

Celebrity appearances and extravagant pomp that usually herald changes in the late-night television landscape were missing.

The evening featured a segment for every reporter in addition to Klepper conducting one more round of in-person interviews with Nyc onlookers to gauge their reactions to Noah’s departure.

The majority of the night, though, belonged to Trevor, who used the show’s last part to attempt to make meaning of the bizarre seven-year process that saw him selected from relative obscurity inside the United States and asked to follow Stewart, who hosted the broadcast for sixteen years. He requested the viewers to consider critically before responding on information they discovered online and to go beyond red-versus-blue posture while attempting to solve their problems.

Trevor Noah Skipped Jokes In Thoughtful Exit From The daily Show:

When Noah unexpectedly announced on the show’s set in September that he planned to quit his position as only the 3rd presenter of the long-running program, claiming a desire to check out other endeavors, he shocked viewers as well as his colleagues and management at network parent Paramount Global. He urged the gathering on Thursday that rather of lamenting his exit, they should “celebrate” it. Even still, his departure presents a problem for the media company, which relies on “Daily” to attract a younger audience than the later-night shows on NBC, ABC, and CBS.
