Kobe Bryant, the late basketball player, got honored by getting his name admitted into the basketball hall of fame, Naismith Memorial. The event took place this Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Arena in the state of Connecticut. Vanessa Bryant, the late player’s wife, accepted the honor on behalf of her husband.

Kobe Bryant Continues To Win

Vanessa Bryant gave a heartfelt speech about her husband at the event. She said that she always stayed away from praising the basketball sensation in front of people. The reason behind this was because she always knew that everybody who knew him, always did the job. She further said that the soul of her late husband must be happy to see what was going on as she was about to praise him. And that too in front of so many people. She ended her speech by saying that Kobe Bryant continues to win even after leaving the world.

The 2020 class of the hall of fame of Naismith Memorial Basketball is an extremely star-studded one compared to the others. It was led by the three legends of the NBA, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and Kobe Bryant. The celebrity player from the team, the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James, stated that the trio of the mentioned players outdoes all institutions creating history. This came from him this Saturday. The celebrity player added that no trio co-existed like them in the history of basketball. He termed them to be the “Big Three.”

The focus of the event was on the player who was missed the most, Kobe Bryant. The basketball sensation lost his life at a helicopter crash that took place in the year 2020. Not only him but Gianna Bryant, his daughter, was also killed in the crash.
