And the official statement will be made on coming Tuesday. She is getting a promotion and is a worthy candidate. She is currently serving as the treasury secretary, and she has served in that department since Obama’s presidency. She has been in the federal government since 2014.
Lael Brainard Has The Capability
She is a strong candidate and has been seen as a leading contender, Lael Brainard could have been selected as the federal reserve vice chair before. But Biden chose Jerome Powell, who has been renominated. Back then Lael Brainard was elevated to vice chair at the central bank’s number two official.
Brian Deese has served as the federal reserve officer before, and his resignation was anticipated last year. And his decision was announced at the beginning of this month. He has been the one behind the economic policy till now, for the past two years. And has been the most powerful NEC director.
