Mike Pence, the former vice-president of the United States of America gave an insight into the relationship between him and former President Donald Trump. He stated that the views that he has with regard to the Capitol riot that took place on the 6th of January, is extremely different from that of Trump. The statement came in this Thursday.

Mike Pence And Trump’s Separated Paths

Mike Pence had attended a dinner party that was hosted by the Republican Committee of Hillsborough County in the state of New Hampshire. There, he stated that he has been talking to the former President numerous times after they both left the office. And both of them are equally proud of themselves. However, according to Mike Pence, the Capitol riot is one subject they can never agree upon.

While the former Republican President has not shied away from downplaying the January insurrection, it is not the same with the former vice-president. Donald Trump went a step further by pressurizing the lawmakers from the Republican party to not provide any support to the bipartisan commission. The commission was framed in order to investigate the lethal attack. However, the take of Mike Pence on the matter is very different as per his appearance that he made this Thursday. He stated that the 6th of January was very unfortunate for the “Capitol” of the United States of America.

On that day, he was taken out of the Senate chamber in order to keep him safe. The rioters stormed into the Congress halls shouting for the death of Mike Pence. And all that time, former President Trump sat inside the White House witnessing everything,  doing nothing. The two have ceased to remain close since then. That was the day their paths separated.
