Nick Foles To Be The Starting Quarterback For Colts As They Will Be Benching Matt Ryan For The Chargers Game

Nick Foles

For the Colts, a dismal, turbulent, almost crazy season has resulted in yet another change at quarterback.

Nick Foles, as per the Colts’ interim manager Jeff Saturday will start his journey in the NFL as  QB against the LA Chargers, as the coach is going to bench Matt Ryan.

Nick Foles is the 2nd qb to take Matt Ryan’s position in the matchday squad this year, and it appears like the MVP of Super Bowl LII will end his season as the starting qb for the Indy Colts.

Jeff in his press meet has said that Ryan likes Matt very much, he is an amazing professional footballer. He said that he appreciates the way he handles such situations. According to Saturday, it is quite not the season the QB has expected. It is also a downright miserable season for the Colts as well. However, he thinks that Nick Foles is the best chance they have in the next match and thus they will be choosing him for the game.

Nick Foles Will Be Starting In QB Instead Of Matt Ryan In The Next Match For Colts:

Just two plays have been made by Nick Foles this year, both of which came in Week Two versus Jacksonville when the game was already won. Since then, he has watched as a lot has changed all around him, which also includes the benching of Matt Ryan in favor of 2nd-year quarterback Ehlinger, the surprising dismissal of coach Reich and his replacement by Jeff Saturday, and the reinstatement of Matt Ryan into the matchday squad after Saturday’s arrival.

5 games of Jeff Saturday’s mayhem have only resulted in one victory, and last performance — a match in which the Indy Colts lost a 33-0 lead at the halftime — could have been the turning point.
