Alleged Leaked ‘iPhone 12’ Schematics Show Speaker Integrated into Bezel to Achieve Slimmer Notch

Jon Prosser, a leaker on Twitter, has leaked schematics of the iPhone 12. It comes with a small notch which can be great news for Apple fans. It seems like Apple is going for a more compact design by placing the TrueDepth camera’s ambient light and the proximity sensors in the middle. The speaker will be placed above these items and inside the bezel of the set.

Unfortunately, the microphone location has not been placed correctly and so, we may not be able to identify it properly.

Earlier, there had been another leak of the iPhone 12 phone and the notch was smaller by a third than the current notch. However, that phone did not come with many specifications of the hardware arrangement.

Ming-Chi Kuo, who is an Apple analyst, had been the first one to suggest that one of the new iPhone phones from 2020 will be featuring a much smaller camera lens with an improved screen-to-bezel ratio. Mark Gurman, a well-connected Bloomberg reporter has mentioned that Apple is going in for a slimmer notch.

AMS, the supplier of Apple, has also announced that the cameras will be loaded with newer technology with IR proximity sensor for the TrueDepth camera system and RBG lighting.

Apple might launch its new models by Fall.
