Drake’s new song “Rescue” has renewed his feud with rival superstar Kanye West, with many thinking that the Canadian rapper was taking a jab at Kanye West in his new song.

On Friday, SiriusXM’s Sound 42 published a new song titled “Rescue Me,” which features audio from Kim Kardashian’s episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” in which she narrates the moment she realized she needed a divorce from ex-husband Kanye West. “I didn’t travel this far only to get this far rather than be happy,” the cosmetics mogul says in the song.

Drake Sampled Kim Talking About Divorce

Kim and her mother, Kris Jenner, had a heart-to-heart about her marriage in the closing episode. It effectively symbolizes the point at which Kim chose to divorce Ye, previously Kanye West. Kanye and Kim married in 2014, and they have four children together. They split up in February 2021.

Drake’s recent song, which incorporates audio from the SKIIMS founder, has sparked speculation because there had previously been rumors of a romance between him and Kim, as well as a simmering feud between him and Ye. Kanye said that Kim never dated Drake during his Drink Champs concert in November 2021, but he charged Drake of insinuating differently.

This isn’t the very first time Drake has sung about one of Kanye’s ex-girlfriends. OG Fans of Drizzy may recall Amber Rose’s voice stating, “I’m a little high maintenance, but not in a bad way,” Amber sings in the song, adding, “I just like very costly things.”
