It was the perfect start to the season by the New England side. They began their journey by beating the Warriors 22-13. It was a pretty comprehensive victory. The match had many positives for the New England side. One big take-away was Mac Jones.
Mac Jones is a newcomer to the team. He was given his first stint in this match. Jones was selected for playing less than a minute before the start of the game. Despite being a newcomer, Jones performed marvelously. He played like a mature athlete and showed a mole promise.
Jones mastered the game like a boss. He acquired 2 successful 20yard passes out of his 5 attempts. He also assisted a field goal from 50yards. His 43-yard pass paved the way for the goal. Jones’ outrageous display made his team go 6-0 up instantly. The end of the match showed some brilliant statistics for Jones.
Mac Jones for the Patriots finished at 19 attempted 87 yards passes out of which 13 were successful. Though the stats might not look staggering, his first outing was surely promising. The team seemed to be very much happy with Jones’ first NFL outing. If nurtured properly, Jones should be able to deliver a lot to the game. As for the present season Mac Jones would look to keep up with the hard work.
