PLO calls on Arab states to take action against Brazil – Middle East Monitor

Secretary of the PLO’s Executive Committee Saeb Erekat yesterday called on Arab nations to take significant actions against Brazil after it opened a trade office in Jerusalem, Al-Watan Voice reported.

Talking to Palestine Radio, Erekat said that the commercial trade between the Arab nations and Brazil is roughly $17. 39 billion in favour of Brazil. He said Arab nations should not permit nations which relocate their embassies and offices to busy Jerusalem to do this with no connections with supports of the cause being changed.

Erekat called for the entire world to place pressure on Israel to not stop Palestinians from holding elections in Jerusalem as given by the Oslo Accords.
