The book tour for his new memoir is Elliot Page’s next professional chapter, and he’s prepared for it.

The 36-year-old “Juno” actor will release his novel “Pageboy” on June 6 and has already scheduled book tour dates.

According to a story from People published on Thursday, Page will go to New York for his release day before wrapping up his tour in Washington, DC on June 14. The actor said to the publication how his multicity travel for the production will enable him to interact with other LGBTQ people. He said, “June 6 feels like it’s coming up quickly.”

“I can’t wait for people to read ‘Pageboy.’ The “Umbrella Academy” legend stated, “I am glad for the opportunity to communicate with readers and listeners about it throughout the nation and to honor other gay and trans tales along the journey as well.

This past December, Elliot Page, who came out as trans in 2020, announced the book on Instagram. He released the cover, which shows him seated on a stool in jeans and a white tank.

Writing a book has cropped up on multiple occasions throughout the years, but it never felt right and, to be honest, it didn’t feel doable, Page said in the post’s description. “I struggled to stay motionless, much less concentrate long enough to do such a work. Finally, in this body, I can be with myself, he wrote. So I wrote a book about my experience.

In his own words, “Making this cover with famed photographer Catherine Opie was a beautiful experience that I will never forget. At many moments in my life, it was intolerable to stand in front of a camera.

Elliot Page’s publisher Flatiron Books claims that “Pageboy” is filled with “behind the scenes details and intimate interrogations on sex, love, trauma, and Hollywood.”
