After overcoming an initial 17-point disadvantage and a questionable finger printing call, Patrick Mahomes delivered 4 pass attempts to Kelce, and KC held on to defeat the Las Vegas Raiders 30-29 on Monday evening.

Despite defensive lapses, the Chiefs prevailed. Davante Adams caught touchdown passes of fifty-eight and fourty-eight yards, and Jones was penalised for tackling the passer, negating a turnover which would have occurred before halftime.

Following Kelce’s last rushing touchdown, Adams’ 2nd touchdown catch occurred as KC (4-1) was unable to convert a two-point attempt, leaving the tally at 30-23. Josh Jacobs, who’d already destroyed the Chiefs defence all night, was stopped at the goal post with 4:29 remaining because Las Vegas Raiders manager Josh McDaniels decided to try for two instead of kicking a go-ahead extra point.

Chiefs Roared Back To Win After A Two Point Attempts By The Las Vegas Raiders:

With 2:29 remaining, the Las Vegas Raiders once more gained possession of the ball, and a big third-down throw to Adams along the sidelines of Kansas seemed to put them in field-scoring range. With  less than a minute left well before Chiefs ran the clock out, Carr fired an incomplete pass on fourth-and-1 after the play was evaluated and it was determined that Adams had not kept both feet inside the end zone.

Carr ended with 241 total yards passing, while Jacobs added 154 rushing yards and then a touchdown as the Vegas Raiders (1-4) suffered their fourth consecutive defeat to the Kansas City. Daniel Carlson’s kickoff return streak now stands at 38 games after going 3 for 3. He would’ve done anything to get a shot at No. 39.

The controversial call occurred the day following another doubtful unnecessary roughness call on Atlanta’s Grady Jarrett vs Tampa Bay qb Tom Brady, which gave the Buccaneers the victory against the Falcons.
