Apple’s ‘iPhone 12’ And New iPads Rumored To Debut In October, 5G iPhone Potentially Delayed

Jon Prosser in a tweet made on Wednesday leaks that Apple’s upcoming “iPhone 12” is to debut this October. Not only that, but a slate of Apple’s new iPads is also going to come out in October.

The prolific leaker’s statement is not looked over. It seems to have the backing of statements made by the CFO of Qualcomm Akash Palkhiwala.

The Wednesday tweet of Prosser reads, “iPhone 12…new iPads…October” which is a clear suggestion that Apple is planning to make its next launch just a month later.

Rumors also suggest that Apple is planning to make its 10.8 inch iPad Air and upgraded iPad mini ready for sale soon. New iPhones are expected to release this fall because of a slight delay from the usual September launches.

The timeline suggested by Prosser is also almost similar to the one suggested by Palkhiwala.

He alluded to a potential delay in The September launch leaving the new releases for the time slot of October to December.

“We’re seeing a partial impact from the delay of a flagship phone launch,” said Palkhiwala. “And so what we’ve seen is a slight delay that pushes some of the units out from the September quarter to the December quarter for us.”
