Argentina Celebrated The World Cup With Fans In Their Win Over Panama

Argentina national team went face to face with the Panama team for a match and they beat Panama 2-0 in the friendly match. Thiago Almada and Lionel Messi carved their names on the scoresheet. Argentine fans travelled in huge numbers to congratulate their men’s team for the World Cup win in December.

Lionel Scaloni picked the starting lineup that won them the World Cup final against France. The team looked very dominant right from the start. However, it was tough to break the defensive wall of Panama until the second half arrived.

Almada, a player from the MLS made history by scoring his goal in the second half in the national colors. He capitalized a rebound from Messi’s free kick that came back to his feet after hitting the crossbar. However, it was not very long after when the captain of the Argentina team scored from a free kick.

On the 89th minute he went for the top corner and sent the ball in the back of the net. Lionel Messi’s free kick made the fans excited and they started chanting his name in the Monumental Stadium.
