Miss Universe 2020 Contest Has Finally Concluded

The Miss Universe 2020 contest was won by Andrea Meza, Miss Mexico. The winner was finally announced after the contest got interrupted by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Meza finally got crowned this Sunday evening. The 26-year-old Miss Mexico won over the other 73 contestants. All of them belonged to their respective countries. The Miss Universe 2020 contest included Julia Gama, the runner-up who is also Miss Brazil, and Janick Maceta De Castillo, the second-runner-up who is Miss Peru.  

Miss Universe 2020 Winner Is Andrea Meza

Andrea Meza was presented with the crown by Zozibini Tunzi, the winner of the 2018 Miss Universe contest. As per the biography, it is stated that Andrea Meza is an engineer in software. The Miss Universe 2020 contest took place at one of the hotels in the state of Florida. The name of the hotel is “Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.” It is situated in Hollywood.

The winner was to speak on the subject of the changing standards of beauty in the final round. She had a beautiful answer to it. She said that as a society, we all have advanced in the subject of stereotypes as we have done so in other fields. Andrew Meza continued that beauty is much more than how one looks apparently. It is also something that is there in the heart and the way it is carried. Miss Universe 2020 concluded her speech by stating that one should never let others tell them that the person has no value. 

Earlier in one of the rounds, the winner was asked about the situation related to the coronavirus pandemic. She was told what would she have done if she were to be made the country’s leader. She answered by saying that she would have taken action much earlier in order to avoid the loss of life.
