Manhattan Jury Hears Closing Arguments In Jonathan Majors Domestic Violence Trial

Jonathan Majors

Jurors in New York will soon decide on the domestic violence case to decide if Jonathan Majors is guilty of assault. The jury will decide if the Hollywood star was the aggressor or if the victim faces charges of assaulting his girlfriends. The closing arguments come after 2 weeks of conflicting narratives about the Hollywood star.

There are contrasting narratives about whether Jonathan Majors was the victim or an aggressor during the chaotic incident in the car backseat. The Manhattan jury will decide soon if Majors was guilty of assaulting his girlfriend.

The case centers around an allegation of assault by Grace Jabbari. The British dancer, 30, alleged that the star of Creed III hit her on the side of the head, hurt her finger, and twisted her arm. She alleged that she broke a finger during the assault last spring.

An emotional Jonathan was close to tears even as Priya Chaudhry, his attorney, tore into Grace Jabbari. Chaudhry alleged in her final statement to jurors that the case centered around Grace Jabbari’s lies. The lawyer alleged that Grace was a compulsive liar who should not be allowed to destroy the lives of people with her fantasies.

Jonathan Majors Lawyer Argued That Grace Was Emotional But A Compulsive Liar

Priya alleged that while Grace was an emotional woman, she could not distinguish between the truth and feelings. She further alleged that the prosecutors had bought into Jabbari’s lies, which she termed big, white, and pretty little lies.

Priya alleged that notwithstanding Jonathan Majors warning her that it was dangerous for a Black man to be calling the police, Grace severely assaulted her, and it was Jonathan Majors who finally dialed 911. Detailing on behalf of the actor, Chaudhry said that Grace had issued conflicting statements to the law enforcement authorities about the assault.

Chaudhry ended her argument by saying that she immediately wanted to end the nightmare that Jonathan Majors was going through. She said that everything that Grace said was false and did not make sense, and that it was all medically impossible.
