Ingraham: House Democrats took cues from rioters in attempting ‘reputational assassination’ of Barr

The conflict between Attorney General Barr and the Democrats seems to be deepening with every passing day.

The case has taken another turn with Laura Ingraham, the host of the “Ingraham Angle” coming in support of Barr and alleging the Democrats of attempting something equal to “reputational assassination of Barr.”

Laura outlined an exchange between Rep Madeleine Dean, D-Pa and Barr himself, the former asking the latter whether he called the State agents to not use irritants on the protesters.

Dean then went on to highlight the foundational principle of free speech, calling Barr’s replies as a surprising portrayal of “lack of respect.”

Laura accuses Dean of deliberately twisting the words for the cameras. She further talks about the “mobsters” who were inside the building and not protesting in a nonviolent way.

Barr is also accused of racism, and Rep David Cicilline D-R.I. called out his “failure to respect the role of peaceful protest in this country is a disgrace.”

The present combat comes after Barr called the Russia scandal a “bogus” and also revealed to have worked independently of President Donald Trump in the matters that he handled. He further alleged before the House Judiciary Committee that the congressional Democrats were discrediting him because of his probe into the aforementioned scandal.
