During the Emmy Awards on Monday, a real-life superhero helped Jimmy Kimmel. On Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he related a tale of a famous person defending his table from an errant spearhead during the opening dance routine.

Kimmel recalled that these dancers come out with spears. He said that they were also thrashing the spears around. According to him, at their table, the tip of one of these spears comes flying off the handle approximately halfway through the dance. And then, seemingly out of nowhere, Andrew Garfield jumps forward and grabs it out of the air. Such as Spider-Man!

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2015), and Spider-Man: Now Way Home all featured Andrew Garfield as the superhero (2021). It would be an understatement to suggest that he has some knowledge of becoming a hero.

Jimmy Kimmel said that just like he might be Spider-Man. He said that exactly as Spider-Man would have done if he had been acting as a covert agent, Andrew Garfield saved them from a huge accident. He said the shirt was undone. His wife, according to Jimmy Kimmel, nearly required resuscitation.

Jimmy Kimmel Shared The Story Of How Andrew Garfield Saved Their Table At The Emmy Awards 2022:

Kimmel kept the spearhead as a keepsake while Garfield salvaged the table. The late-night presenter also uploaded a photo of the spearhead, Garfield, and himself at the Emmys.

Jimmy Kimmel said, sharing his selfie at the Emmy awards with Andrew Garfield, saying he is with the superhero who saved their lives. Mimicking a well-known dialogue from the Spider-Man franchise movies, Kimmel said that with great power comes great reflexes.
