Four states’ residents will get stimulus check payments to help them weather the rising costs of living brought on by inflation.

Prepaid cards for public transportation and fuel are being offered in Chicago, while stimulus payments totaling varying amounts will be sent to residents of Delaware, Indiana, and California.

The States That Are Offering These Stimulus Checks

California

Eligible people will get a stimulus check for 600 dollar/1,200 dollar in the first stimulus check package, the Golden State Stimulus I (GSS 1), and another stimulus check for up to 1,100 dollars in the second stimulus package, the Golden State Stimulus II (GSS II), thanks to the stimulus packages authorized last year.

It’s important to keep in mind that GSS II might result in reduced payouts for certain locals, depending on whether or not they were eligible for GSS I.

Help will be provided to low-income Californians who have filed their tax returns and paid their taxes before October 15.

Colorado

Colorado residents who file their taxes may expect a stimulus check of either 400 dollars(for single filers) or $800 (for married couples filing jointly) depending on their filing status.

Money is being returned to Coloradans as part of TABOR (Taxpayer Bill of Rights) reimbursements.

Delaware

At the end of May, the state is expected to distribute a tax refund. You may expect a $300 refund if you file as an individual and $600 if you file jointly.

All citizens, filed their personal income tax returns in 2020, regardless of whether or not they had sufficient money to do so, would get a refund.

Indiana

Anyone who lives in the state and submitted their taxes before to January 3, 2022, will get a refund.

Those who qualify as singles will get $75, while couples will receive 125 dollars.
