Senator Richar Blumenthal had gone through a femur surgery. Last week at the basketball court he got injured. Given his age, everyone thought it was going to be something major. Senator Richard Blumenthal Wastes No Time

Last week Richard Blumenthal took part in basketball at the University of Connecticut. A victory parade was held to honor their NCAA championship win, which also happened last week.

Richard Blumenthal said he had a minor fracture in his upper femur. He was admitted to Stamford Hospital. The doctors and the staff has been amazing according to him. They perhaps took the best care of him. Made sure he was recovered fully before they discharge him.

Richard Blumenthal tweeted the aforementioned statement. He is already taking physical therapy from expert physicians. He feels the urgency of the situation. He is doing possible thing in his power to get back to work as soon as possible.

His tweet was followed by another Democrat member Chris Murphy who was also present at the parade. He tweeted something funny mocking Richard Blumenthal. Fracturing his femur perhaps was the most obvious thing. He is 77 years old now, and his friends believe he should have been more careful. Richard Blumenthal has been serving Connecticut since 2010. He has served five terms now.

He will begin his duty on 17th April, after the easter holiday is over. This might be a crucial and sensitive time for Democrats. Last month John Fetterman was also discharged from the hospital, he was getting treatment for depression.
