For the past several days, Joe Alwyn’s name has been in the news due to his breakup with Taylor Swift.

The cast includes Raffey Cassidy (White Noise), Isaach De Bankolé (Casino Royale), Alessandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark), Stacy Martin (Nymphomaniac Vol. 1), Emma Laird (Mayor of Kingstown), Jonathan Hyde (Titanic), and Peter Polycarpou (Evita). Principal photography recently began in Hungary.

According to Deadline, Joe Alwyn has been cast in Brady Corbet’s next movie The Brutalist. The website also states that Hungaryn 4 has been filming “in recent weeks.” 

The summary is as follows: “The Brutalist is a thirty-year life story of an artist. A mysterious and affluent customer (Pearce) changes the lives of visionary architect László Toth (Brody) and his wife Erzsébet (Jones) forever when they depart post-war Europe to rebuild their legacy in America.

Before the recent announcement of Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s split, fans had been asking why he had missed her Eras tour. He appears to have started filming this new project already. The news of some of the speculated casting has been leaking onto social media and blogs, but this is the first formal confirmation from the production regarding the new makeup of the project we initially announced three years ago.
