Xiaomi Mi 11 is the new flagship phone for 2021. Mi 11’s Chinese variant sports upgraded specs and a very modified design which gives it a really good and technical look at the type of features, high-end mostly, that the top phones of Android will ship and make in the years to come. There will be some changes made to the global and European versions of Xiaomi’s Mi 11.

How Different Is The Xiaomi Mi 11 From The Mi 10?

The changes regarding the new Xiaomi Mi 11 design compared to the Xiaomi Mi 10 are very minor. The display on the front is 6.81 inches which are just slightly larger than the 6.67 inches Mi 10 screen. The extra space appeared from reducing the device’s bezels, elevating the height, maintaining the curves of the sides and the camera which is like a hole-punch.

There are however greater visible changes in the backside of the phone. The “pill” vertical camera of the iPhone is not there and instead, there is a “layer cake” which looks like very thin glass. The Mi11 has 3 rear cameras: one main sensor of 108-megapixel, a telephoto of 5-megapixel, and an ultrawide of 13-megapixel. This Mi 11 also features faster wireless charging of 50W for pairing with a battery of 4,600 mAh.

In the internals of the phone, the new Mi 11 gets its power from the Snapdragon 888 with providing either 12GB or 8GB of RAM. The storage begins at 256GB or 128GB, which is very generous unfortunately in the world of smartphones. Like most of the new modern smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is supportable with 5G and features Wi-Fi 6. Notably missing is one charging brick from the new Mi 11. Lei Jun, CEO, Xiaomi confirmed that the new flagship will be following in the footsteps of Apple and Samsung regarding the removal of a charging brick for cost-saving and environmental reasons.
