Gal Gadot Says She Realises Now Her ‘Imagine’ Video Was In Poor Taste

The Wonder Woman famed, Gal Gadot, recently admitted that her controversial video, Imagine, was certainly in very poor taste. The video in concern was released in 2020. Fans will definitely remember it being posted on social media where Gal Gadot had brought together a bunch of other celebrities. 

Although the video was made in a fun mood, the audience did not take it in the right manner and she had received a lot of backlash on social media and otherwise. Since the video was released during the COVID-19 pandemic, she was accused of being tone-deaf. 

Gal Gadot’s Mistake & Acceptance

Gal Gadot has earned immense fame through her role in Wonder Woman. Several big celebrities, including John Lennon, have made huge controversial content. However, it is Gal Gadot that keeps getting asked about her Imagine video despite clarifying her stance repeatedly. 

Nonetheless, she has responded once again when she was recently asked about the video. Gadot shared that she rarely takes herself seriously and does things spontaneously. She had got the idea of the video and immediately called Kristen Wiig about making it. 

She also mentioned that the pandemic was restricted to Israel and Europe at the point in time. She admitted that it was the wrong time for her to release it as people were struggling with the coronavirus. She said the video was premature but her intention was pure. 

Gadot further added that sometimes people do something with the right intention but it might not be taken in the right way. The video also included big names like Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Zoe Kravitz, Mark Ruffalo, Will Ferrell, and Maya Rudolph

The actress also remarked that she wanted to diffuse the tension later by making fun of her video during one of her Elle events. ‘
